Disney Dream Character Meet and Greets

Isn’t Minnie in her sailor outfit the cutest?!  When you come to check into your Disney cruise you will be able to find Minnie or Mickey there ready to say hello.  There is a line you can hop in if you want to get pictures with one of them.  I was so glad we were able to get pictures with Minnie to start the trip off on the right foot!

Where to find the Chracters

Each evening at turn down service you will find a schedule for the next days events with locations.  There you can find out which characters will be scheduled to be out that day that you can catch a picture with.  The usually stationed are around the Lobby area and surrounding deck.

My favorite part about the cruise was finding characters roaming the halls that you could take pictures with.  They were not on the schedule, but just out saying hello to people.

Each day the characters wear diffrent outfits.  So if Mickeys your fav and you already have a picture with him but see him on the schedule for the next day, go see him again because he will be in a diffrent outfit.

Make sure to arrive to the meet and greets early or on time because once the scheduled time is up, the character has to leave even if you have been waiting there in line.

Some of the meet and greets you can schedule in advance when you are booking actives for your cruise.  We did that with Ana and Elsa From Frozen.  The rest we found in the halls or went to the scheduled meet and greet time.

If you are walking around the halls you can often spot characters walking to or from a place. It’s cute because there characters will hold the kids hands and walk with them to the picture spot.

On the cruise they had animation classes where you could learn to draw the Disney characters.  At the end of one class we attended Goofy came out and saw our drawings we made of him!  After the class we saw Goofy rooming the halls.   Reid and Lindy were super excited and wanted to get a picture with him!

Pirate Night you could find all the characters in pirate attire!  Lindy loves Stitch so a picture with him was a must!

The last night of the Cruise there is a closing show you do not want to miss!  In the middle of the show all the characters take place around the foyer to take photos with!  There are princesses, Mickey, Minnie and friends!

We were so glad both Jake and I were there.  I would wait in one line with Lindy and we would take a picture with a character.  Jake would be in another line waiting in   and Lindy would go with him for pictures. We would switch on and off which worked out great to meet a lot of characters.  Lindy said it was her favorite night of the cruise!

This night there are not professional photographers at the event but a cast member with the characters that can use you phone or camera to take photos for you.
